Treated Pine R/H and DAR

Treated pine, is treated with CCA (Chromated Copper Arsenate) to protect the material against termite and fungal attack. This makes it a very durable and cost-effective material, perfect for load bearing situations where protection is required from the outdoor elements. Just like framing pine, treated pine is sourced and manufactured from environmentally sustainable plantation pine. Treated pine is kiln dried and seasoned, delivering a consistent sizing and dimensional stability.

Cypress

Cypress pine posts  and dressed cypress gold for external use

Cypress posts are structurally graded to F7 in strength and are rated as Class 2 Durability, making them very suitable for in ground use. Cypress is naturally rot and termite resistant, making it a safer and more economical product. Available in a various sizes and lengths, cypress is most commonly used as fencing posts, gate posts and in the construction of pergolas and gazebos. Cypress posts are accessible in either a dressed finish, or a rough sawn finish.

Fascia

Treated Pine Fascia for external use

Fascia is a long piece of timber used to cover the area where the wall joins the roof. It has two grooves rebated on the underside to allow for a sheet of eaves lining to conceal the roof lining.

Primed L.O.S.P

Primed Treated Pine for external use

Design Pine is a dressed treated pine, which is finger jointed or laminated for increased dimensional stability. There are four key components to the Design Pine product; the timber, the preservative, the glue system and the primer system. Design Pine is manufactured from plantation grown radiata pine. Through the manufacturing process, all the natural decfects which may comprimise the stability of the length are removed. These lengths are then finger jointed back together to produce a clear, straight, defect free board. All products in the Design Pine range are subject to Light Organic Solvent Preservative (LOSP) and are rated to a H3 (hazard level 3) for all above ground applications.

Cypress Pine Windsor Pickets

Cypress is a native Australian soft wood and is rated as Class 2 Durability. Cypress is naturally rot and termite resistant, making it a safer, cheaper and more economical product than some comparable products. There is a huge variety of different picket profiles and lengths such as 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800mm are available. The Windsor head picket, is one of the more common profiles and is stocked on the shelf in all the above lengths.

We stock Treated Pine LOSP Palings at 1.8 metre lengths. They are manufactured in two sizes and are designed to be overlapped. Utilising a plinth board, railings and posts, they are the ideal partition fence between properties

Dressed Merbau for internal and external use

Merbau is a very common decking timber sourced from South East Asia and is generally in good supply within Australia. Merbau is consistently red in colour, abundant in natural oils and is a very cost effective decking product.  It is a well-wearing, durable timber that can look very effective when sealed.

Karri is a hardwood timber native to Australia. With its durability and distinctive red hues it is suited to a broad range of applications. Most commonly used in construction, it is also valued by designers in the manufacture of indoor and outdoor furniture. Karri timber also features in the design of indoor and outdoor joinery.

Weatherboards

Weatherboards are an external cladding feature consisting of a series of boards fixed horizontally to external walls, with either an overlap or a connection at the joint, to protect the building from rain. They come in many different profiles and materials for you to choose from. Accessories for Weatherboards include Sisalation Wall Wrap (breathable and permeable), internal and external weatherboard stops for corners and joins and Plinth Board for the base of the house. Polkky Giant posts and beams

Polkky Giant comes from the Northern region of Finland and is made by one of Finland’s largest private timber processing companies. Northern Finland is famous for its high quality slow grown softwood timbers.

Polkky Giant, manufactured from solid densely grained pine and spruce timbers, contains a wide range of different timber for construction. The product comprises 2 or more pieces glued together either horizontally or vertically in accordance with the structural demands.

Treatment

Pölkky Giant uses Koppers Celcure® C4 preservative system (Celcurised Timber) is based on an effective combination of copper and organic co-biocides. Such systems have provided proven performance for well over 12 years in locations throughout Europe, North America, Australia and Japan. Celcure timber is pressure treated to force the preservative deep into the wood structure providing protection where it matters. Wood treated in this way is suitable for Use Classes UC1, UC2, UC3 and UC4 including fencing, timber decking, landscaping timbers and construction timbers.
